Knee Pad(s): Compare prices with volleyball knee pads as they work just as well as they are made for a hard court.

Head Gear: Look at Cliff Keens Signature, basic but functional design. Look at the option chin cup.

Shoes: If this is your first year and you can’t get a second hand set, both Adidas and Asics make an inexpensive pair (Mat Hog and Fuerte) that run about $30 a pair.
