wrestling recruiting
I have a high school wrestling situation that I need some advice on?

What should I do when a high school coach is trying to recruit me to the wrestling team but I don’t want to do it. I have done wrestling before in middle school but I just don’t want to do it again. I have tried approaching him about it but he doesn’t want to take no for an answer. Please I just need a little advice please.

Well, there is no way he can PHYSICALLY make you wrestle. Sure he can jot your name down as “part” of the program but he can’t FORCE you to wrestle. However he CAN try to talk to you into it. but YOU hold the power whether you are going to wrestle or not. If i were you I’d try once more to talk to him . Start out by saying what a great opportunity it is and that you appreciate his offer however; you STRONGLY feel that this isn’t something you want to do again. That maybe he can give the opportunity to another student who is equally as talented as you are but fully committed to wrestling. If you approach him in a nice friendly manner he CAN’T possibly not be understanding. Sure he might be pissed at first but he’ll surely get over it. :) Good luck!
